What organizations is LakeView affiliated with?
LakeView church is affiliated with the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA).

What if I come from a different faith background?
People who attend LakeView come from a wide variety of faith backgrounds. We use the Bible as the foundation for our teachings as together we grow in our relationship with Christ. You don’t have to be a member of a specific denomination to attend LakeView.

What if I don’t know much about the Bible?
The messages (sermons) at LakeView are designed to teach what the Bible says and apply it to the real challenges we all face today. The messages are prepared so they can be easily understood by individuals who may be checking out church for the first time, as well as thought provoking and challenging to individuals who have been attending LakeView for an extended period of time.

What if I’m not sure I believe in God?
If you are unsure of what you believe about God and are seeking some answers, you are welcome to come to see what LakeView is all about. We’d encourage you to attend a Sunday morning service and feel free to speak with any of our pastors about any questions you may have. Messages at LakeView are designed for both those who don’t yet know God and those who do.

Is there a dress code for your services?
At LakeView we encourage you to come as you are. During our services, you’ll see more people in jeans and khakis than you will in anything else. You’ll even see the occasional Packer jersey in the fall! You are welcome to dress casually.

What kind of worship music do you use?
Although we use multiple styles of music, we feature modern or “contemporary” praise songs led by a live band and vocalists from within our church family. Worship at LakeView can be an energetic, passionate response to God.
 
Are you going to ask me for money?
We do pass offering plates on Sunday mornings; however this is for people who call LakeView their church home and choose to give money back to God as an act of worship. If you are visiting, please do not feel obligated to give. We would simply love to have you join us.

How can I become a member of LakeView Church?
LakeView requests that individuals wishing to become members attend the Membership Classes to learn about membership. Check with the church office for the next class at 873.9838.

Do you really have a “view of the lake?”
Yes, we really do have a view of Lake Kegonsa from the church lobby. Come and see for yourself!
