Mark Krizan

 
Mark grew up on a dairy farm near Ladysmith, WI and became a follower of Christ at age 18. In 1980, while attending MATC, he met his best friend and wife, Lynn. She accepted Christ as her personal savior in 1981 and three years later, they married. They’ve lived in Menomonie, Beaver Dam and moved to Oregon, WI (Lynn’s home town) in 1989 where they live with their 3 children, Tyler, Josh and Makayla. 

Since graduating from MATC in 1982, Mark’s worked with various civil engineering firms. He’s been employed as a land surveyor on Madison’s west side since 1997. Lynn has split her days over the years working mainly with the Dept. of Corrections and raising their 3 children. Since moving to Oregon, they’ve attended Lakeview and have been involved in various ministries over the years. 

Mark has seen Lakeview grow through many changes over the years, especially some recent tough years. He’s excited about the direction God is leading Lakeview, especially the many opportunities he’s given us to interact with and reach out to the surrounding communities.

This is Mark’s first time serving as an elder. He humbly asks those who read this to pray that he would give honor and glory to our Lord and Savior, show God’s love to the people in his life throughout the week, walk closely with Him, seeking God’s direction for himself and for the church body, and serve with a humble heart.
