Mission
Our mission is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Values
Jesus taught that God’s greatest commands are to love God and love people (Matt 22:36-40). These are the foundation of the Christian life and LakeView’s core values:

Power of God’s Word
The Bible tells us how to know God and obey Him, so we will diligently study, teach and apply its truth to our lives (2 Tim 3:16-17; Heb 4:12; Ps 119:9-11)

Dependence on God’s Spirit
Following Jesus is not possible in our own strength; we will live in prayerful dependence on the Holy Spirit (Eph 5:18; Gal 5:22-25; Eph 3:16-21)

Commitment to Authentic Community
As God’s family, we will love and serve each other in deepening relationships marked by grace and truth (1 Peter 4:8-10; Acts 2:44-47; Heb 10:24-25)

Urgency of the Message
Without Christ people are lost, so we will show God’s love in practical ways and share the Good News with faithfulness and relevance (Jn 3:16; Matt 28:19-20; Matt 25:31-46)

Vision
LakeView is a community where God will change your life. It is a safe place where you can come as you are, find acceptance, learn about Jesus at your own pace, and grow in faith. It is a warm and inviting place where healthy relationships with people inside and outside the church really matter. LakeView prepares people to lead lives of increasing influence at work, at home, and in the world.
