On May 4, at 6:30, we will be gathering as a church body for our National Day of Prayer Worship Service. Please join us for a time of worship and prayer as we seek God's face for our nation, our church and ourselves.
The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress, and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman. As citizens and residents of the United States and as believers in Christ Jesus, we not only have a spiritual responsibility according to 1 Timothy 2:1-2 to pray, but a civic duty as well to pray for our nation. Please join us for prayer on Thursday, May 4th.
