What kind of church is LakeView?
We love Jesus. Our mission is to be disciples who make disciples for the glory of Christ and the common good. We are associated with the Evangelical Free Church of America. You can also read more about what we believe.
What are your weekend services like?
Our worship service is about celebrating who God is and what He's done (and is still doing) in us and in this world. We do that with music, giving, prayer and a message from the Bible. If you want to hear what our messages are like, you can listen to them online.
Where are you located?
What will happen the first time I visit?
We're a friendly church, but we won't make you stand up in front of the congregation and introduce yourself! We'd be glad to show you around, but if you want to be anonymous for a while that's fine, too.
What should I wear?
Some people dress casual, others dress up. You're welcome either way–just wear clothes!
What about my children?
We have a children's ministry called LakeView Kids, as well as a youth ministry for middle school through high school students. On Sunday morning we have a nursery available for infants and toddlers. Older children start worship with their families and later are dismissed to LakeView Kids.
How can I meet other people and get connected?
There are lots of ways to get involved! A few of the best ways are in a Life Group, Men's and Women's ministries. For your kids we have LakeView Kids and Youth Group which is a large gathering of students and also the opportunity to go deeper in discipleship small groups.
