You are invited to join us for learning and fellowship as we study "The Sermon on the Mount," Jesus' longest recorded message. Over nine weeks, we will learn what it means to be a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven. We will learn through individual study, small group discussion, and the DVD teaching sessions and workbook created by Jen Wilkin.
Join as as we study "Brave: Honest Questions Women Ask," by Angela Thomas-Parr. Angela looks boldly at some of the fears and struggles of being a woman, and she helps us see how we can be brave in the face of those challenges. The study includes DVD teaching lessons, small group discussion, and individual study. Register by September 13.
Are you interested in learning more about LakeView and theology? We're offering LakeView Essentials to present an overview of our church and to share what we believe about God the Father, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the Bible, and why we’re here. We’ll also answer theological questions that you and others have.
The focus of this five-week Precept study is "You can trust God." Experience what it's like when God places His hand on the lives of His people in Ezra and Haggai to prove He is the promise- keeping God. Register online by Tuesday, Oct. 3. Cost of the book is $12.00.
Men of the church - Have you ever wanted to serve on a short term missions trip? Well here's your chance! Each Fall, men travel to Camp Barnabas in Purdy, MO, to help with special work project to keep the camp up and running!

LakeView Church is participating in Operation Christmas Child again this year. The Samaritan's Purse Project Operation Christmas Child collects shoe boxes - filled with school supplies, hygiene items, fun toys and notes of encouragement - and delivers them to children in need around the world to demonstrate God'd love in a tangible way. Samaritan's Purse has collected and delivered more than 135 million gift-filled shoe boxes to to children in more than 150 countries. For many children, this is the first gift they have ever received.
We are in need of signers to join our adult Christmas choir and sing a special arrangement of “Angels We Have Heard on High” on Dec 17th! The practices will begin on Oct 29 from 11:15am - 12:00pm in the Auditorium. They will be the same time every Sunday through Dec. 10th, with the exception of November 26 which won’t have a practice. There is also one additional dress rehearsal on Saturday Dec. 16th.
Bring your family and friends to our 2nd annual Trunk or Treat on Sunday, Oct. 29 from 5-7pm in the church parking lot. We will have trunk or treating, bouncy houses, walking tacos, and wear your best costume! (please keep costumes G-rated - no weapons - not too scary). Open to the entire Stoughton community so invite your neighbors too!

It's Districts 2018! Districts is the premier event for Student Ministries. The FLD Districts Youth Conference in Green Bay is an exciting, 3-day retreat full of fantastic worship, world-class teaching, service opportunities, seminars, prayer, new friends, and more fun than you'll know what to do with! Each year's theme seeks to provide opportunities for students to fall deeper in love with Jesus, while also introducing hundreds of students each year to a personal relationship with Jesus. This year's theme, "The Real Jesus", is about meeting the real Jesus, no matter who you are, what struggles you're facing, or what you've been through.
