Pastor Andy continues our Christmas series with a message from 1 John 4:7-21 about love. When we receive God’s love and complete it by sharing it with others, God shines in us. This Christmas, let’s love like no one else!
In Ephesians 3:14-21, the Apostle Paul prayed for the church. The same prayer he prayed for his church is the prayer we're praying for ours: that God would drench us in his overwhelming love to know what goes beyond the limits of knowledge and be filled with all the fullness of God.
Pastor Andy starts a new series on prayer, the most important thing we can do as Christians to experience the love of God, to have a victorious faith, and to accomplish the Great Commission. Each message in the series is paired with a popular worship song that parallels the theme of the Scripture. This week’s sermon is on the Lord’s Prayer in the Gospel of Luke.
Pastor Andy brings the second week in our series through the Gospel of Mark, Who Is This Man? In this scene from Mark, Jesus encounters an untouchable–a man with leprosy comes and begs Jesus to make him clean. Jesus's reaction to this unclean leper turns the world's kingdom upside down and reveals that Jesus makes the unclean clean, and the unholy holy.
Pastor Alex brings the story of Hosea and Gomer. God told Hosea to marry an unfaithful woman, named Gomer, as a living parable and a symbol of the ancient Isrealites' unfaithfulness to God. In spite of her adultery, Hosea forgave her and redeemed her and restored their relationship. In the same way, God loves us unconditionally–even when we are faithless, He is faithful. God loves us, God loves you, with a never-stopping, unbreakable, eternal covenant love.
