I grew up on the banks of the Wisconsin River near the small town of Muscoda. I came to know Jesus as my savior as an eight year old in Vacation Bible School. I am a graduate of UW-Platteville with a degree in both History and Sociology. After spending 5 years as a Social Worker both at the county level and with the State of Wisconsin, I realized that the I was much happier working in the grocery store while I was going to college. I then went back into retail and have spent most of the last 40 years in retail management. I am currently a retired manager from Kwik Trip stores. I do still work a few hours a week for Kwik Trip.

I met my wife Carol the summer after I graduated from high school. We were married at Calvary Evangelical Free Church now known as Lakeview in Stoughton in 1972. We have 5 children Chad, Melissa, Rachel, Jonathon, and Caleb. We spent most of our married life in Richland Center, WI. In 2001 we felt God calling us into missions and spent 5 1⁄2 years working with Youth With A Mission {YWAM} centered out of Lakeside, Montana. We returned to Wisconsin in 2006 and settled in the Edgerton area where I went to work for Kwik Trip and Carol with Madison Area Rehabilitation Center {MARC}. We became members at Lakeview in 2006 and have served as Life Group Leaders and in Children’s Ministry over the past 13 years.
